Getting started
There are a few steps needed to get you up and running . This article and associated links will guide you through them.
First look
Take a tour around the system to familiarize yourself with what is available
And if you get stuck, help is never far away. Just ask the Bot!
Static Data
As the first user, you will have Admin rights, and will then add in everyone else.
You can see that you are an admin user because you have the Administration menu on the bottom Left.
We'll use that menu to do the following steps:
- Set the branding - Add in our logo
- Set the organization structure , and users
- Set up the Currencies we support
- Set up the Parties (our corporate customers) we wish to invite to join us in Rivo
- Set up the Banks we correspond with (if applicable)
- Set up the Guarantee Text templates (if applicable)
Branding

Organization Structure
You can replicate your organization structure in RIVO ; Simple , or tiered , with users having only local or global permissions.

Users
Once you have your structure, you add the users in to each unit
How to add the Organization users to the specific unit of the organization?
Currencies
You may have preferred currencies that you support . If you set them up in the Static data , ten your corporate customers will have only those to choose from.
Setting up the system available currencies
Parties
Parties are your corporate customers. You will add these in and send them invites to RIVO.
This is an excellent way to kick-start your RIVO portfolio.
APIs are in the pipeline to allow automated upload, to save keying.
Later, other corporates will join RIVO by themselves and will need to choose to work with you.
How to create a new Party in RIVO?
Banks
Similar to Parties , you can add in Banks that you regularly correspond with. These will then be available in a drop down for your customers to pick from , to save them searching for them.
Guarantee Text Templates
If you are offering Guarantees, then you may well have your own bank standard wording.
This static data allows you to define that wording , with dynamic text placeholders.
When your customers use the Bank standard text, the placeholder text is replaced with actual values from the deal being worked on.
