How it Works in Rivo:
RIVO does not yet support SWIFT messaging. However, it has been decided to put the validation into place for RIVO fields that might contain Swift character sets. It should be applicable to all business modes in Rivo (Import LC, Export LC, Outgoing Guarantees, Incoming Guarantees, and Standby LCs)
- Users who begin business transactions with full necessary information may suddenly insert a character that is not advised by Swift, then the user receives a warning message as shown below
- If the user enters more than the required number of lines that are recommended by swift, Rivo will automatically highlight those characters in red.
Note: Please consider rephrasing within the allowed characters and size because while the highlighted characters are supported by Rivo, but they might not be by the industry or the bank you are working with.
