To provide easy reference and/or sharing with the Guarantee Issuer or Beneficiary, upload and attach relevant documents, for example, contract, proforma invoice, Guarantee text sample, etc.
All deal participants can upload documents in the "Attachments" card at any time/status.
You can attach multiple documents using drag & drop or using the browse option.
To display an attachment, click the download icon next to the attachment.
Note:
You can share the attachment with the public, internally, or specifically with the party (External) you are interested in by clicking the privacy settings from context menu
In the above screen, Uploaded By displays the organization that uploaded the document to the deal, while Deal Status indicates the current stage or status of the deal. The document can only be previewed after downloading it using the download option shown in the above screen. Users can delete a document using the delete option.

The Privacy setting controls who can view the attached document:
- Public: The document is visible to all parties participating in the deal.
- Internal: The document is restricted to users within the uploading organization and cannot be viewed by other deal participants.
- External: The document can be shared selectively with specific parties involved in the deal.
The Document Type categorizes the document based on its purpose within the transaction workflow, such as Sales Contract, Debit Advice, Credit Advice, and other document types applicable to the selected transaction type.
RIVO allows a user to change the privacy of an attachment only when both of the following conditions are met:
- The user is the owner of the attachment, and
- The deal is in Edit mode.
Select Save & Continue to complete the document attachment process. Once attached, the document can be viewed by downloading it using the Download option available on the screen.
After a document is successfully attached, a notification is generated in the Notification section of the menu panel. Email notifications are also sent to the relevant users and parties based on the selected Privacy Classification settings.
All document attachment activities are recorded in the History Log under the Attachment field. The log captures details such as the date and time of the action, the deal status, and the previous and new values. A sample email notification is shown below.
Note: This functionality applies to document attachments across all available RIVO products and transaction types.
