This article details the process of calculating fees or commissions on the unutilized portion of a corporate's credit limit with its bank. The feature promotes accuracy and transparency in fee calculations, ensuring compliance while enhancing the overall user experience.
Basic Steps for Configuring Fee Calculation for Unutilized Limit Report:
Navigate to the Limit Page:
- As the administrator, you have the option to pick my banks from the menu, then select the bank that you are planning to set the limits for, click the context menu, and select limits
Set Up the Limit:

- Specify the limit amount and the valid through date.
Enable Fee Calculation:
- After setting up the limit, enable fee calculation by checking the option labeled Calculate fee for unutilized limit amount.
Input fee parameters:

- Fee Percentage: Enter the annual percentage rate for the unutilized portion of the limit (e.g., 0.0025 for 0.25%). Supports decimals up to two places.
- Annual Day Count Convention: Select how the year is counted for fee calculations from the dropdown options:
- 360 days
- 365 days (default)
- Actual days (365 or 366 for leap years)
- Collection Period: Choose the fee collection frequency from the dropdown options:
- Monthly
- Quarterly (default)
- Semi-annually
- Annually
Save the parameters:

- Once all fields are filled, click Save to apply the fee calculation settings.
Unutilized Limit Fee Forecast Report:
To extract the unutilized fee reports as an administrator, select Reports -> Applicant -> Unutilized limit fee forecast.
General Filter:
- Filter by Corporate Unit: Users can filter by corporate unit (drop-down of the list of units of the corporate-single selection—the headquarter will be selected by default).
- Filter by Limit Currency: Users can select display data for all or specific bank's limits currency. The same conversion should be applied as we implemented on the Limits Report. The base currency is selected by default.
- Filter by Period: Users can choose the date they want to show the data. The report should only query for the selected dates. They can select one or multiple months/quarters/years. All dates will be selected by default.
Total Fees Collected:
- A pie chart displaying the total fees collected by all financiers over the selected period.
- The chart will provide a clear breakdown of each financier's contribution to the total fees (with amount + percentage).
- Hovering on each portion will show the details of the Bank's Name, Total Fee Amount (for the selected period), and the contribution in%.
- This data will be collected from the period selected from the general filter.
Total Fees by Financier:
- A bar chart displaying the total fee collected by each financier.
- X-axis: Financier Name
- Y-axis: Fee Amount
- Filters: Users have options to filter the data to focus on all financiers, the top N performers, or the bottom N performers, where "N" is a number specified by the user (Users can choose to display up to 20 financiers).
Collected Fees By Period:
