Guarantee Text Format Options

In the guarantee creation process, you will see the Guarantee Text Format field. Here, you can choose from three options:

• Corporate’s Standard Wording – Uses your organization’s predefined template.

• Bank’s Standard Wording – Uses your bank’s or financier’s official template.

• Free Text – Allows you to enter your own bespoke wording provided by the beneficiary or customized for the transaction.

Using the Free Text Option

When you select Free Text, RIVO displays a dedicated text field where you can type or paste the guarantee wording. This is especially useful if the beneficiary requires a specific format.

To help you validate the content, RIVO provides an AI-powered analysis of the free text.

The AI highlights and classifies the key elements of the guarantee, such as:

• Nature of the Guarantee – for example, First demand.

• Expiry Details – expiry date and conditions for automatic cancellation.

• Transferability – whether the guarantee can be transferred.

• Governing Law – URDG758, local law, or a combination.

This ensures that all critical clauses are visible and easy to verify before finalizing the guarantee.
